Open Show - July 13th 2008

The Sun shone at Belbroughton, and over 70 Bernese came to take part in the Central Club’s inaugural Open Show and The Bernese Carting Group’s’ Working Cart Course. As well as the breed show, there were a number of stalls, refreshments and an impressive Carting Parade at the lunch break. Judge Lorraine Grayling (Lujento) found her Best in Show in Jackie Weston’s Duntiblae Dawn Delivery for Bernfawr. Reserve BIS and Best Dog was Pam & Tony Mead’s Monalou Shiver Me Timbers. Miles Arnold showed Desulyn Jewel Damsel to win Best Puppy. Feedback from exhibitors and visitors has been very positive, and what was a very successful day for the Club was topped by the Kennel Club Field Officer’s assessment of the Show as “Excellent”.
